2021 is just beginning and it’s okay to want to leave 2020 in the dust. Remember that it is okay to not have to recreate a whole new you with each passing year. It is okay to love yourself as we love you just the way you are! More importantly, it’s also okay to know that you are not okay, need to ask for help,or need to make a change.

In this year it is also okay to ask for help. If 2020 has taught me anything it is that it is okay to ask for help. Aerial Dance has a wealth of resources that are put in place to help to take care of all women, not just their members. Founder Paula truly believes empowering, helping, and finding a way to help heal women mind, body, and soul.

One of the ways Aerial Dance tries to help women in the community is by providing scholarships to women who may need some financial assistance with membership fees. The greatest part of the scholarship program is that it was originally founded by a member who loved Aerial Dance’s values so much they wanted to give back to other women in the community.

2020 brought my family and I unforeseen medical and home expenses. I wanted to attend classes at Aerial Dance, but it wasn’t in our budget. I was talking with one of my aerial sisters and she said, “Why don’t you apply for the Sisterhood Scholarship?” It baffled me a little as I forgot that Aerial Dance does sponsor scholarships for members in need. It was difficult for me, as I am not one to ask for help as I know that there are many who are less fortunate than I. I decided to give it a shot, because I very much wanted to be back at the studio. The process to apply for the Sisterhood Scholarship is very simple. If you are interested in applying for the Sisterhood Scholarship I have included the link for you. Unexpected things happen, and Aerial Dance is there to help in any way that they can.
