When I got to class today I went straight to the back of the room. It was a dance cardio and I didn’t want anyone to see me awkwardly trying to dance. Someone asked me why I’m always finding my way to the back of class and I told them I didn’t want anyone to see me.
As I was driving home I thought about this.. no one at Aerial Dance has ever pointed at me and said “Did you see how badly she screwed that up?” And yet here I am hiding in the back like that was the case.
I do not think that I am the only one who tends to hide in the back of the class either. My challenge to myself and everyone else who finds themselves hiding in the back of the class.. move up! Take your time with it if need be! We are all there to support and encourage each other and none of us should be afraid to be that one in the front. This is your time to be free and love yourself! Build yourself the confidence to not hide in the back even if you aren’t the best!
