Aerial Dance has five studios within our Appleton, Wisconsin location:

POLE STUDIO

Our gorgeous pole studio has 9 stainless steel spinning poles by Platinum Stages that are 10 feet high and have a 1.75″ diameter which makes them easier for women to grip and is preferred by pole sport competitions. The studio has a dance floor and floor to ceiling mirrors. Your safety is always our priority so we have multiple professional-grade crash mats to use as determined by the trick. We also have beautiful “twinkly lights” to use during stretching and free dances. Classes taught in this studio include Pole Classes, Vertical Barre, Pole Strong, Pole Parties and Pole Practices.

AERIAL STUDIO

Opened in September 2014, this studio has 9 Chrome Semi-permanent Build-A-Poles by X-Pole, 11 Aerial Hammocks, and numerous attachment points for Lyra/Hoop and Silks. Usable ceiling height is 10’8″. The steel support structure was designed to our specifications by Omnni Associates engineers to be able to accommodate multiple different set-ups. The studio has floor to ceiling mirrors and a cushioned dance floor. Classes taught in this studio include: Pole Classes, Aerial Classes, Aerial Yoga, Floor Flow, Bendy Babe, Aerial Parties, Pole/Aerial Practices.

FITNESS STUDIO

This room has all the fitness equipment used for our flexibility and fitness courses. It also has one pole and one wall is a stall bar! This awesome apparatus is fantastic for strength training and stretching and has been a favorite of gymnasts for decades! We also have kettlebells, dumbbells, resistance bands, stability balls and lots of other equipment to enhance fitness classes. We also have “mood lighting” installed in this studio for flow and movement classes. Any classes run in this room are limited to 5 students so everyone has enough time on the equipment. Classes taught in this studio include Aerial Conditioning, Bendy Babe, and Private Lessons.

BACK POLE STUDIO

Part of our 2019 edition, this beautiful studio has nine 12-foot stainless steel Lupit Poles. The gorgeous space has a wall of 10ft mirrors and windows with lots of natural light. In addition, like all our studios, it has an excellent sound system and “mood lighting”. Classes taught in this studio include Pole Classes, Vertical Barre, Bendy Babe, Pole Flow, Pole Strong, Pole Parties and Pole Practices.

DANCE STUDIO

Part of our 2019 edition, we now have a big open space for dancing! This beautiful space had 8-foot mirrors six inches off the ground so you can see your floor work, stall bars, and beautiful lighting. Classes taught in this studio include Floor Flow, Aerial Conditioning, Dance Cardio, and Bendy Babe.

OTHER AMENITIES

Other perks of our location include a comfortable reception area and a bathroom facility that includes two changing rooms and a shower for students to use. We offer towel services and have all the things you need to get ready (like a hairdryer, shampoo, mouthwash, etc.) for whatever is coming up after your class.

Safety First!

The aerial arts are inherently dangerous. When someone is off the ground, gravity may sometimes win no matter how hard you train. Part of the mission of Aerial Dance is to provide a safe playground where equipment failures are not an option. No expense has been spared in creating our gorgeous environment:

• The custom-designed steel support structure in our Aerial Studio meets OSHA fall protection standards, and is one of the only ones of its kind in the world!
• All our aerial attachments are top-of-the-line, rated for excessive forces.
• We offer crash mats of varying thickness depending on the aerial trick being practiced.
• Professional instructors who train for six months to achieve all 132+ hours of Aerial Dance Instructor Certifications, obtain a nationally accredited fitness certification and a pole/aerial specific certification before teaching our students.
