By registering for an Intro class you are signing up for a one time, 45-minute class. There is no sharing, exchanging, or refunds of purchases. If you need to reschedule your intro class, you must cancel with 24 hours notice and we’ll be happy to help you reschedule. What Happens in Intro to Aerial Class?

When you arrive at Aerial Dance you’ll fill out paperwork. Then we’ll give you a tour of our gorgeous facility as we escort you to the Aerial Studio.

Intro to Aerial Class will begin with a short warm-up off the apparatus. Then you’ll spend roughly 15 minutes on Silks learning a basic climb, foot lock, and spin. Then you’ll move to the Aerial Hoop and spend the next 15 minutes learning short sequences of tricks.

The class will end with a few basic inversions on Aerial Hammock and stretching. The class will FLY by!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Who can take this class?

This class is open to women of any size, shape, or fitness level who are over the age of 18. No previous experience is required! If you are male or under 18, contact us for class alternatives.

What should I wear?

Leggings that are past your knees, a tank top and a light long sleeve top that is form-fitting. It is important that all your clothing not have zippers, rhinestones, sequins, or anything sharp as this would damage the apparatus.

What if I’m not good?

When are you ever good at something that is new? The goal of your Intro class should be to have fun while trying three new apparatus! Don’t expect to be good, expect to have fun!

What if I’m nervous?

That is OK! Most of the women who walk through our doors are nervous the first (or first few) times! It’s natural to be nervous when you’re trying something new. Our amazing instructors will guide you through every step of the class and help put you at ease. So be nervous, but come and try it anyway!

Is this class required?

You do NOT have to attend Intro to Aerial class in order to take any of our other Beginner classes. For example, if you know you want to take Silks, sign up now for Beginner Silks. The Intro To Aerial class is for women who aren’t sure which apparatus they want to take a class on or if you’re just curious about the aerial arts. This class is intended to be fun and give you a taste of all three aerial apparatus we offer.
