Vertical Barre

This low impact, high energy class will get your heart pumping. Sweat out calories, tone your body, and increase your strength! Use your own pole the entire hour to tone your abs, butt, and legs with the aid of resistance bands and new movements every week in this class you’ll love to burn through.

Who can take this class?

This class is open to women of any size, shape, or fitness level who are over the age of 18. No previous experience is required! If you are male or under 18, contact us for class alternatives.

What should I wear?

Shorts and a tank top! You’ll be getting very sweaty. Some people like wearing 1/2 sole dance booties, you can purchase them at the studio. Otherwise workout in bare-feet (what most girls do) or clean gym shoes.

What will happen in the class?

Class will start with a cardio dance warm-up using the pole. Then you’ll take a break from cardio to do strength training using the pole. Then back for another 10 minutes or cardio, then another 10 minutes of strength. Class ends with another cardio section combining all the moves from the two previous cardio blocks before stretching.

How many people are in the class?

Everyone has their own Pole, including the instructor, so that maximum class size is 8.
